Incident Overview
A wildfire, later named the Suncrest Fire, broke out behind a home in Draper on Sunday afternoon. Located in the open space south of Draper Heights Way and west of Vintage View Court, the fire quickly grew from 3 to 10 acres. Fortunately, no structures were threatened at the time of reporting.
Agencies on scene included Sandy Fire, Unified Fire Authority, Draper City Fire, and possibly BLM. The staging area was set up at the intersection of Traverse Road and Highland Drive.
